Description
Keighley Training Group (KTG), part of Bradford Council’s Skills for Work service, provides a range of work preparation, job search and employment services to unemployed people and local employers. We give free assistance to local employers to help them with their recruitment needs, and can also provide access to our pool of job ready people for work placements/work trials so you can “create your own staff”. This could include helping the employer to access a wage subsidy of over £2000. We also offer free support when employing a person with a disability or ill health. Once a person is employed, we can also help to set up an Apprenticeship programme, and can offer a range of vocational qualifications, (NVQ’s) to new or existing staff to help build their career aspirations. Finally, Skills for Work helps unemployed people with their employability skills (including literacy and numeracy) and job searching across all sectors. We can also offer specific vocational training in Business Administration, Customer Service and Retail, helping them to gain valuable work experience along the way.
