Go along South Street in Keighley and you will see the outstanding new frontage of Sewing Machines and Crafts, the new title for Craftylee Crafts.
Owners Diana Watson and her daughter Carol Spence have given a makeover to the business with a new themed design throughout the store.
Celebrating its 8th birthday, the store has a new improved product line, providing knitting machines, sewing machines and accessories.
Avid machine knitters and those interested in sewing and embroidery can find a wide variety of items including wool, thread and patterns.
Having completely changed the shop to accommodate increased lines, Carol now supplies machines at competitive prices. Sewing Machines and Crafts is an agent for brother and Jenome and also supplies knitting machines by Silver Reed. The store also provides Eclipse cutters which cut paper and vynil.
Carol has seen an increase in customers as a result of the current economic situation, with people returning to making or mending their own clothes or curtains to keep living costs down. People are also visiting the shop attracted by the new colour scheme and on recommendation of existing clients.
A strong group of regular customers includes both locals together with overseas visitors from as far as France and Spain.
